How many calories in Beef

The number of calories in beef are listed below per 100 grams (3.5 oz). Portion sizes can vary greatly between products purchased and different individuals, therefore the list of beef calories should be used to compare the calorie content of each beef type.

Beef calories can be high due to high fat and protein content. To keep the calories in beef low try selecting the leanest portions when buying. It may also be a good idea to stew lean pieces of beef with vegetables and boiled potatoes to create a low calorie dish, rather than serving with higher calorie roast / fried potatoes and gravy or sauces.
